Hubby and I took our oldest Baby Dog to the vet today, and after discussing our options, we all decided it would be best to opt out of tooth extraction surgery. With her age, and condition, it doesn't make sense to put her through that. So our vet pescribed a daily antibiotic to be given to her indefinitely. My 17 year old Baby Dog is feeling a little better. Today is her final day of a 2 week run of antibiotics. The abscess has completely cleared up, thank goodness. She's still very thin, and her appetite is not as hearty as it was before she became sick. Thank you so much to everyone for their kind comments, thoughts, & prayers on my loss of my sweet Baby Dog 1. I can honestly say  that making the decision to end her suffering was the most painful and difficult thing I've ever had to do in my life. I've gotten tons of house/yard stuff accomplished, but of course there's always more to do. HGTV is a dangerous thing. It keeps giving me ideas, and stuff!!!
